Introduction

For many years electromagnetic technology has been used in diagnostic and therapeutic devices, in both orthodox and complementary medicine. In the first half of the 20th century many of these devices were somewhat empirical and thus often considered ineffective. The advent of the pharmaceutical revolution significantly diminished the use of electromagnetism, especially in main stream “orthodox” medicine. However over the last 40 years the advent of sound, orthodox experimental work, such as that carried out by Dr R.O.Becker1 in New York, has qualified both the harmful and therapeutic effects of electromagnetic fields. This in turn has led to the publication of numerous specialist papers and books on the subject.2 Now in complementary medical fields, such as acupuncture and vibrational medicine, the advent of computer technology and advanced electronics has led to the significant development of effective diagnostic and therapeutic tools.3 The QEnergySpa, Bio-Electric Field Enhancement (QEnergySpa, BEFE) unit is one of these tools and represents a significant advance in the development of electromagnetic medicine. Having personally worked with the QEnergySpa, BEFE in my integrative medical practice and studied reports of its success amongst colleagues, I am convinced electromagnetic energetic medicine will play a much bigger role in the future.

Description

Based upon an interpretation of Quantum Theory, the QEnergySpa, BEFE unit is an Australian device, designed to provide an external source of “negative electron” energy for the body. As the manufacturer insists on pointing out, in this capacity it is not a medical device and does not actually diagnose, cure or treat any disease, or condition. In reality it is a sophisticated spa, energizing the water, which is used as a conductive medium. All living things possess energy fields, thus when a person bathes in the water and takes a QEnergySpa, BEFE bath, the body absorbs the energy provided to use as needed. Since the quality of design and manufacture are of medical grade and the unit is used in water, the QEnergySpa, BEFE has received official approval from the TGA in Australia, (Australian equivalent to the FDA) and is marketed there as a therapeutic spa/medical device. It has undergone stringent testing and has been shown to be safe to use in the manner advised.

This unit consists of a double-insulated, step-down transformer producing a smooth, rectified, 24 volt, DC supply to a unique, water electrode array. The design and structure of the array is crucial to the efficacy of the unit, a patent has been applied for. The arrangement of the copper and stainless steel plates, combined with the proprietary electronics, creates specific electromagnetic frequencies and harmonics, which are transmitted to the body through the water medium.

Method of Use

In practice part or whole of the body is immersed in the water, and the device turned on for up to 35 minutes. The electrode array causes basic electrolysis of the water, gas bubbles are seen to be released from the plates. The charging effect causes dissolved impurities in the water to be precipitated. This leads to discoloration of the water, sedimentation and the formation of a scum on the surface. Much of this is coming from the water itself and not from the person in the bath, although there does appear to be a significant detoxification effect. At the same time the QEnergySpa, BEFE generates negative electrons, which are released into the water as a waveform, synergistic with the electrical state of the person being treated. The proprietary electronic circuitry ensures the energy waveform matches and enhances that of the individual in the water.

Of interest, when some people start using this unit they experience mild tingling or sensations at the site of old operations or injuries. It is thought this may be due to the area becoming energized. Tap water is used and the mineral and chemical content of this varies between areas. Thus the discoloration seen during a QEnergySpa, BEFE treatment will vary according to the water source. Furthermore, in spite of using the same water source, the water discoloration seen varies between individuals and may change with the number of baths or the person’s state of health. The constantly changing bio-electric field around every person and probably causes a unique response in the precipitation of particles from the water, thus causing the unique color changes during bathing. During initial use of the spa the water is often very discolored. As a person continues to use the spa and responds to the energy source, the water color tends to improve and lighten. However these are merely observations and should not be overemphasized. The color change does not relate to toxin release. Response to the QEnergySpa, BEFE may occur slowly with regular use over a period of time. Occasional use may not produce the desired response.

People on medications may use the QEnergySpa, BEFE providing they take a bath with this instrument at least one hour before or two hours after taking medication. The reason for this is purely a precautionary measure to ensure nothing interferes with either this instrument or the medication. All medications and supplements should be continued as before and should only be changed under the guidance of the Health Professional in charge of the case. Blood pressure should be checked regularly as anything which causes relaxation, such as a spa, may assist in normalizing it.

Use is limited to 35 minutes alternate days. Do not use this treatment during pregnancy or in conjunction with a pacemaker, immuno-suppressive drugs or organ transplant.

Experimental Results

Monitoring electron generation using a specifically designed ORP (Oxygen-Reduction-Potential) meter, indicates water may run at + 400 to + 450. Once the QEnergySpa, BEFE is running, the ORP reading will charge as the electron content of the water and immersed body is equilibrated. Initially, as the body takes up available energy, the ORP reading changes very little. However when the body reaches equilibrium, the electron content of the water begins to increase and a drop in the ORP reading is noted. The “electron drop” can be slow or rapid, and appears to be related to the state of the individual taking the treatment. Negative figures of – 400 to – 600 have been recorded and may relate to overall vitality and healing capacity. Experts in the field of energetic medicine now speculate the change in electron status of the body is linked to a subtle shift in base balance, leading to an “Alkalinization” of the body. If true this would suggest a possible mechanism for the enhanced vitality and healing attributed to hydrotherapy generally. Perhaps this also provides a key to the alleged benefits of natural spa waters.

Clinical Observations

An increasing number of personal testimonials draw attention to the uniqueness and efficacy of the QEnergySpa, BEFE unit in providing energy for the body to heal itself.  In my mind there is no doubt the natural healing potential of the human body has been severely underestimated by orthodox scientists and physicians. Orthodox medicine is generally based upon the principal of cutting (surgery), burning (radiotherapy), or poisoning (therapeutics) pathology to effect what is called “treatment” or a “cure.” This does not diagnose or treat disease. However, by providing negative electrons, it provides energy for the body to use as required, acting as a supportive “spa” or stress relief device and works well in conjunction with other therapeutic modalities.

Personal observations have included the following cases:

A 45 years old female with terminal cancer of the brain. The tumor could only be partially resected due to its position. In spite of medication she was left with headaches, double vision, facial numbness and pain, tremor of the hands, weight loss and depression. She had lived a month longer than predicted. She began supportive nutritional therapy and took QEnergySpa, BEFE baths every other day. After six weeks she ceased to use this instrument and when reviewed, had lost all her symptoms, regained weight and had determined to return to work.

A 42 years old male diagnosed with AIDS following an outbreak of severe herpes zoster, began supportive nutrition and QEnergySpa, BEFE baths for 35 minutes alternate days. He has continued this regime for over 18 months. During that time his clinician has noted a sustained improvement in T cell count and a reduction of viral load. Clinically he has regained energy and continued a normal life. At this point he has not required anti-viral therapy.

A 53 years old female, suffering from chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia affecting the back, consented to one treatment. She slept deeply and was tired the following day, after which she regained a new energy level. Back pain was eased and nocturnal spasms disappeared. She had a previous history of prolapsed intervertebral disc with occasional exacerbations of sciatic nerve pain. On one occasion she was confined to bed following such an attack of pain radiating to both legs. Use of the QEnergySpa, BEFE was limited to immersing one hand in a bowl of water, but a single session of 35 minutes still proved effective in relieving spasm and promoting relaxation.

Other anecdotal reports indicate the use of this instrument in a variety of conditions may support concurrent medical treatments, promoting extraordinary levels of improvement and healing. Associated conditions include:

  • Easing arthritic pain and disability
  • Energizing effect in chronic fatigue syndrome.
  • Energizing and strengthening neuromuscular function in multiple sclerosis.
  • Supportive therapy in cancer recovery.
  • Rejuvenating effect in diabetic neuropathy.
  • Normalizing renal function.
  • Normalizing effect in autism.
  • Symptomatic improvement in neurological conditions including Parkinson’s disease and stroke.
  • Improved memory in Alzheimer’s disease.
  • Enhanced detoxification and excretion of toxic heavy metals.

Case History–Heavy Metal Detoxification

Analysis of urinary toxic metal excretion on a 27 year-old female pre and post treatment showed significant increased urinary elimination of aluminium, peaking at 110 micrograms/24 hours (normal range 0-37). Urinary elimination of nickel, cadmium and arsenic also increased, but none exceeded the normal laboratory ranges.

Case History–Electro-meridian Balancing

Many alternative practitioners use electronic measurement of acupuncture meridians when assessing disease progress and therapeutic response. It has been postulated the value of a QEnergySpa, BEFE bath lies in its effect on balancing body meridians, thus it was interesting to receive the results of a clinical case study from one such practitioner. Trained in the use of electro-acupuncture, she measured the charge recorded at the end of each meridian, both before and after the subject took a QEnergySpa, BEFE bath. The sum total of the meridians was averaged and compared, the results being as follows. At the same time she noted the before and after resting blood pressure:

Electro-meridian Examination Results:

Average Value of Meridians

Pre Bath:          76      105        95

Post Bath:      101      111      101

Difference:       25          6          6

Blood Pressure response to QEnergySpa, BEFE Baths:

No of baths: 1 4 7
Resting BP 140/100 130/97 120/90

Her results indicate this unit increased meridian energy. What is also noted is the difference between before and after was more marked the first time this instrument was used. Individual reading (data on file) indicated a balancing effect between the left and right pathways following a QEnergySpa, BEFE bath. Finally she noticed a modest reduction in resting blood pressure. Admittedly this is a single case study and the results cannot be extrapolated. However the trend is interesting and indicates the need for further research.

Conclusion

In my opinion the QEnergySpa, BEFE unit represents a significant advance in Energetic Medicine. It is a spa device, which appears to be associated with providing negative electron energy, enabling the body to accomplish remarkable detoxification, elimination of heavy metals, and balancing of inherent energy fields. As a therapeutic spa it promises to be an extremely useful adjunct to both orthodox and complementary medical therapies. Initial observations and anecdotal reports indicate it warrants further investigation. Detailed clinical trials and plot studies will be available shortly.

Water Colors & Smells: The bio-electric field effect and or energy quality from the use of the QEnergySpa, BEFE is derived from the interaction of the complex resonant field created within the water by the water module, the ORB. All ionic or electrolysis processes ONLY results in discoloration and precipitation within the water and although interesting and a point of discussion, it is irrelevant to the process and effect. There are far too many parameters that affect the colors and smells of the water after use of the QEnergySpa, BEFE (or any other similar kind of technology) and although every person’s outcome in the water is different (you affect the outcome, but it does not come from you), please remember that you cannot and should NEVER diagnose or rely on the water colors and or smells in any way.

Point is: That all colors, dirt and smells are irrelevant. Ignore them

The QEnergySpa, BEFE and what to Expect

What can I expect to feel after a QEnergySpa, BEFE session?

There are many different responses to the bio-energy boost and it is unpredictable as to how you are going to feel after a session with this technology or even how your body is going to respond after a series of sessions. The first cycle is a series of one session every 2nd day, for 35 minutes for 14 sessions.

From experience, it has been noticed that some people become highly energised while others may become very tired and find that they need to rest more to enhance their improvements which the QEnergySpa, BEFE will give them.

So why is that?

Basically, experience have told us that the people who become tired after a session, usually get the extra boost of bio-energy the following day. It is as if the body’s intelligence is telling the body to rest, so that it can go to work and spend that extra bio-energy that it has just given.

In the graph shown below, the red line represents people gaining and feeling an instant boost of bio-energy. The blue, purple and orange lines represent people who become very tired after a session. Each individual person will have a response somewhere between these two extremes.

What am I supposed to feel, while my feet are in the water, with the QEnergySpa, BEFE?

Every person has a different level of sensitivity where one person can feel the bioenergy travel up through their legs, others may feel nothing. While in the session, some people may feel various sensations like tingling, heat or discomfort it is possible people who have had injuries may feel much more but do not necessarly need to feel anything to be getting the benefit of this technology.

What benefits can I expect to see after a session?

Many people while in pain, primarily focus upon the pain and when it goes away, it never was. For this reason, we recommend that you keep a diary of your health concerns so that you can track it. Because this technology is such a gentle gradual process most people don’t even notice those little things that have already improved. For example, jumping out of your car where you previously could not, sleeping better, simply just feeling better and more focussed or being better able to play with your kids or grand kids, without lasting effects.

Many more people start to feel better, forget about the pain and stop the QEnergySpa, BEFE sessions prematurely, before their body has sufficiently repaired the injury, etc. This technology is not just about repairing injuries or healing, it is also about long term benefits and prevention and if you view this technology as a form of bio-energetic maintenance, you could potentially achieve an energetic form of anti-aging. QEnergySpa, BEFE vs Copycats

The QEnergySpa vs. Copycats

Neil Voss, Researcher on Competitive Copycat Machines

Our focus is on increasing energy by patterning the field of energy to balance, harmonize, and elevate the bioenergetics of the individual. Competitive machines excel at making the water dirtier and causing people to focus on what is in the water. Copycats promote maximum creation of electrolytic precipitation of dissolved solids, electrode action, pollutants and additives in the water, affecting the color of the water.

  1. Competitive units create static energy that is one directional as opposed to the QEnergySpa, BEFE that creates dynamic, interactive energy. Static energy is an abundance of stationary electrons in the water while dynamic, interactive energy is moving back and forth energy. They show a picture of the aura in their brochure afterwards, but they don’t show any change in the aura or colors of the aura before and after. Static electricity also creates more chlorine, and cell membranes are susceptible to heavy chlorine.
  2. Competitive units do not have Underwriting Laboratory approval, nor are they registered as a Medical Therapeutic Device. Safety is a big issue when you are dealing with electricity and water. Our unit meets strict international safety guidelines for all countries around the world. The QEnergySpa, BEFE was tested under pressure for one hour with fire hoses coming from several directions. You probably could virtually drop the unit in water and it would not hurt you; although this is not recommended.
  3. As a result, without Underwriting Laboratory approval, they are unable to obtain Liability Insurance. If there is a problem, good luck.
  4. They use colored acrylic plastic that generates more chlorine from its base in the water. The competitive units look crude inside like they were made in a garage.
  5. Wider and thicker positive tracks are on copycat units, creating a different energy, giving different frequencies and different results. If the frequencies of the unit are out of phase with the frequencies of the body, the result can cause the amplitude of the frequency to have a destructive frequency in the body systems.
  6. Wider and thicker negative tracks on their units cause the copper ring to wear out faster, as well as creating different energy, giving different frequencies and different results. Problems may be caused in the body from static, insensitive frequencies.
  7. Nylon housing materials on their units create an increased number of pollutants in the water, giving it more color.
  8. The Ion Cleanse (copy-cat unit) uses vertical plates that get very rusty even from the first use. This rust is heavy oxidation and shows signs of a low-grade stainless steel. Hence, the water picks up the rust and creates redness in the water that doesn’t come from the body. The plates have to be sent in to the company to be changed quite often. I am told it costs about $70 each time.
  9. There is a tuning fork effect from the combination of metals in the array. If this is altered, it alters frequencies needed by body systems. Competitors use low-grade metals. The QEnergySpa, BEFE has some rare metals to give correct frequencies dynamically tuned to body systems.
  10. Competitive companies use power supply components and parts from the shelf, which are designed for static systems, causing electricity to flow in one direction only. These units block the returning frequencies to the power unit, making their systems static and not interactive. Parts off the shelf are cheaper quality and poorly constructed and create noise and interference for the pure signals needed by the body systems. The QEnergySpa, BEFE is not simply electricity, but creates rather a dynamic field. Static electricity also creates more chlorine, and cell membranes can be susceptible to heavy chlorine.
  11. Competitive companies have created an astonishing visual for luring unsuspecting customers into buying the company’s product. The sales demonstration is based on what you see in the color of the water. The customer is misled by bogus explanations of what the color in the water means. The Federal Trade Commission has outlawed the practice in most states.
  12. Positive and Negative Ion Production: The “Ion Cleanse” claims to adjust the amount of positive and negative ions in the water. This is electro-chemically impossible. As long as both positive and negative electrodes are in the same body of water there is always a net neutral charge in the water. For every positive ion created, there is a negative. When they claim to alter the number of positive or negative ions, they are simply changing the polarity on which an electrode is positive or negative at a given moment and then it becomes neutral in the water. As a result, you can change the colors of the water, but you are not getting toxins from the body.
  13. “The cheaper metal discs create distortion and wrong static frequencies. The rings must be harmonically balanced and the lip on the disc creates the signature patterns in the water. It creates fields of energy within a symbiotic loop, returning to the power unit, which creates harmonic resonances more coherent to the body’s form of resonance with greater energy flow.” Terry Skrinjar, QEnergySpa, BEFE inventor.
  14. The truth about the colorations in the water is that they are created by the electro-chemical reactions from the materials in the electrodes. The Ion Cleanse unit uses a copper winding that terminates with a zinc electrode, and a steel tube as the other. When the copper/zinc electrode becomes the positive it will create greens and blues along with black material from the copper and zinc. When the steel is positive, it will create yellows, oranges, and browns. It will not be detoxifying the body properly.
  15. To understand how delicate the frequencies are to the body, conventional science teaches us that water is two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen. Is it true? Maybe not.
  16. An original experiment placed two copper electrodes into the water. 110 volts was applied, and the gases collected were 2 parts hydrogen and one part oxygen by volume. However, if you use different metallic electrodes (as competitive units have done, particularly the ION CLEANSE), you will get different gases every time. Also, if you increase the voltage or lower the voltage you will get different gases. Thus if just a few little things are changed (like copy-cat machines have done), the extent of the energy benefits created for body systems will be lessened and can even do harm to the body in the long run because of wrong frequencies.
  17. If the practitioner chooses to set the Ion Cleanse at the beginning of one polarity cycle of water, in 17 minutes and 1 second the polarity of the water will have reversed itself and the client will have the opposite polarity. After seventeen minutes and one second it will change again. What use is there for setting the polarity of their unit?
  18. Competitors do not know the secret of continuous on and off pulsing. This pulsing makes the QEnergySpa, BEFE’s benefits to the body system very effective. The QEnergySpa, BEFE has no right angles to the wave forms. Competitors use a square wave form that creates a static energy.
  19. Competitive units do create limited benefits for clients from a static charge, which creates oxidative reduction factors. But when the oxidative reduction factors (ORP), which relate to correcting free radical damage to the cells and DNA are measured, the QEnergySpa, BEFE has demonstrated up to 10,000 times more ORP than any of the competitive units.
  20. The competitive units have an adjustable voltage control. We looked at this in our units initially, but the switch creates too much electrical “noise” within the circuit leading to interference and a degradation of the resultant field energy.
  21. There have been reports by analysts that the competitive units cause the body to dump valuable minerals and particularly calcium out of the body because the frequencies or the wave form of these competitive units hit the frequencies of calcium and minerals.
